Anooshka Banerjee, MHC-LP

Anooshka views therapy as a space to explore meaning, healing, and personal transformation. She works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, spiritual concerns, and religious trauma. She has a particular interest in supporting Asian and South Asian individuals, immigrants, and children of immigrants as they navigate the intersections of culture, family expectations, faith, spirituality, and personal identity.

Drawing from her experience living and training across cultures, Anooshka brings both personal and professional insight into the complexities of identity, belonging, and life between different worlds. She strives to create a compassionate and collaborative space where clients can explore questions of faith, heal from religious wounds, reconnect with their values, and integrate different parts of themselves in ways that feel authentic and meaningful.

Anooshka provides therapy in English, Bengali, and Hindi. She earned degrees in Applied Psychology and Counseling Psychology in India and completed her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at The City College of New York. Her clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across diverse settings, supporting concerns related to trauma, grief, emotional regulation, identity development, spirituality, and life transitions.
