Treating Mind and Spirit as One

CALL FOR PROPOSALS PSI 2016 Springtime Speaker Series

PSI 2016 Springtime Speaker Series

Can we find peace in a fractured world?”

 Recent violence around the world highlights the impact of trauma that is both
individually and collectively experienced. The roots of such violence may arise from intergenerational transmission of trauma and reflect racial or religious differences.

Our PSI 2016 Springtime Speaker Series invites proposals on this topic from licensed clinicians interested in addressing a professional audience seeking continuing clinical education. All proposals should consider ways to integrate these complex themes when working to heal the mind, body and spirit in the aftermath of trauma.

Selected speakers will present on the first Wednesdays this spring (April 6th, May 4th, June 1st), from 10:15 am – 12 pm in a Manhattan location to be determined. A modest stipend will be awarded.

Proposals are due by Tuesday, March 1, 2016, and must include:

a) the topic of a 50-minute presentation;
b) the outline of 50-minute interactive and experiential application;
c) a resume or CV with specific mention of credentials, license and experience; and,
d) learning objectives with measurable goals.
