The Fall 2015 PSI Conference co-sponsored by The Interfaith Center of New York and American Association of Pastoral Counselors (Eastern Region) brought together scores of people from a range of disciplines and orientations to discuss ‘The Future of Spiritually Informed Treatment’ on Oct. 17; a summary of the proceedings can be found here. Keynote speaker Dr. Pilar Jennings, author of Mixing Minds: The Power of Relationship in Psychoanalysis and Buddhism, led the group in a shared Tonglen meditation; read more about that here. The general consensus was that more questions were raised than could be answered. A continuance of those collegial conversation is currently under consideration.
