Featured teacher at PSI’s Summer Certificate Program in “Spiritually-Informed Psychotherapies”: Dr. Robin Brown, PhD, LP

This summer, PSI is once again offering our certificate program in “Spiritually-Informed Psychotherapies” to qualified clinicians interested in the sustained study of the many intersections between spiritual wisdom and psychological insight. NY State LMSWs, LCSWs, LMFTs, and LMHCs are eligible to earn 18.0 CE’s; NY State CASACs are eligible for 15.0 CE’s.

One of the teachers at this program will be Robin S. Brown, PhD, LP, NCPsyA, a New York State Licensed Psychoanalyst, and a member of adjunct faculty for the Counseling and Clinical Psychology Department at Teachers College, Columbia University. His work has been published widely and spans the disciplines of psychoanalysis, Jungian psychology, and transpersonal studies.

Robin is the author of “Psychoanalysis Beyond the End of Metaphysics: Thinking Towards the Post-Relational” (Routledge; see, and the editor of “Re-Encountering Jung: Analytical Psychology and Contemporary Psychoanalysis” (in press). He sits on the editorial board of Psychoanalysis, Culture, & Society. Dr. Brown’s work explores the relationship between divergent strands of psychodynamic discourse, and is centrally concerned with advancing non-reductive approaches to psychotherapy.
