Kathleen Kelley

Kathleen Kelley, MDiv., LMFT, is a psychotherapist in the faculty practice of PSI providing individual, couple and family therapy. Kathleen holds a Master of Divinity from The Catholic University of America, and is a candidate for a Doctor of Ministry degree specializing in family systems. In addition to her academic degrees, Kathleen has extensive training in marriage and family therapy as well as psychoanalysis from the Blanton Peale Institute in New York City, the Bowen Family Center in Washington D.C. and the Western Pennsylvania Family Center in Pittsburgh. She has also completed a Clinical Pastoral Education program at The University of Miami Jackson Medical Center.

For the past ten years Kathleen has worked professionally at the intersection of ministry and psychotherapy. Kathleen developed and implemented the first residential program on the east coast for pregnant, mentally ill women and their children for a program of the Archdiocese of New York. For the past three years she has been a part of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians as the Family Program Coordinator and Spiritual Care Director for the Hazelden Foundation, a chemical dependency program in NYC. In addition to her clinical work she facilitates a weekly lecture series on family’s and addictions, spirituality and recovery and teaches a variety of workshops for professionals in the field of addictions and family systems.

  • Post traumatic stress – childhood and adult trauma
