Jane Moffett, PhD

Dr. Jane Moffett has been in the mental health field for over 26 years. She is licensed at the doctoral level as a clinical social worker and holds certifications in EMDR and somatic experiencing. She selectively use various, recognized verbal and somatic treatment modalities to promote healing and growth. Jane also offers Kathy Kain’s body work, by separate appointment, for somatic integration and resilience in the aftermath of trauma, illness, or loss.

She specializes in treating individuals suffering from:

  • Anxiety
  • Incest
  • Sexual assault and recovery assistance
  • ADHD
  • Post-traumatic stress
  • Bereavement
  • Cyclothymia and bipolar II
  • Career problems
  • Relocation difficulties
  • Relationship difficulties
  • When indicated, Jane is able to blend traditional verbal psychotherapy with deep relaxation and visualization to promote healing and reduce stress.
