Paul Kelly is a licensed psychotherapist practicing in New York City.  He treats a wide range of mental, emotional, and psychological challenges and has special expertise in the treatment of:

Paul works from a strengths perspective and uses client-centered, positive psychology approaches along with evidence based treatments such Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Psychodynamic Therapy, and others.

Paul has worked with recovering sex addicts for more than 30 years and is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). He has trained with the leading figures in the field of Sex Addiction, including Patrick Carnies, Stephanie Carnes, Alex Katehakis, Ken Adams, Rob Wiess, and others. He has led numerous workshops and retreats focused on recovery from sexual addiction and has been a featured presenter at the Annual Symposium on Sex Addiction presented by the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP).

He is a member of the International Institute of Trauma Professionals (IITAP) as well as the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH) and a member of the New York Mental Health Counselors Association (NYMHCA). Paul works with both individuals and couples, and also offers group therapy.
