PSI Welcomes Lana Hurst, MHC-LP as a Staff Therapist

The Psychotherapy & Spirituality Institute is thrilled to welcome Lana Hurst, MHC-LP, to our clinical staff. Lana (she/her) recently graduated from Fordham University with an MA in Mental Health Counseling and Spiritual Integration. As a clinical intern with PSI last year, Lana provided therapy services to clients, focusing on issues of gender identity, sexual orientation, spirituality and religious trauma. 
 
In addition to continuing and expanding her clinical work, Lana is also available to facilitate workshops and provide consultative services for spiritual communities, community organizations and businesses, particularly on topics related to gender identity.
 
As a transgender woman, Lana believes that every person deserves a safe space to process their experiences, become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and discern what a more integrated life can look like. She is passionate about facilitating experiences that enable people to feel more connected to others and themselves. 

Lana is a skilled clinician and instructor, as well as a generous colleague and friend.
