Rebeca Brau Martinez

Rebeca is currently training to obtain her degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Mercy College. As a family systems thinker, she understands the importance of our relationships and the impact that they have in the way we lead our lives. She helps clients to recognize and heal intergenerational patterns, reduce anxiety, restore trust, work on individuation, learn non-violent communication, heal relationships, and reduce reactivity.

Rebeca is a Mexican American immigrant woman who knows how hard it can be to feel empowered and loved in a world full of conflicting messages about who we are and where we belong. She seeks to create safe spaces for her clients to find resilience and healing within themselves and in their relationships with others.

Empathetically walking alongside couples, families, and individuals, Rebeca recognizes that therapy is a courageous process where we can observe how outer forces have shaped us and attend to the inner voices that were silenced in the face of trauma, shame, and pain. Rebeca believes that by taking care of our core wounds, we can find the courage and compassion to be authentic and experience the joy of living a meaningful life.
