Scott Beebe, Clinical Intern

I believe that when we feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted, new ways of understanding ourselves and living more fulfilling lives can begin to emerge. I approach therapy as a collaborative process where clients can speak honestly, explore experiences that may be difficult to understand or express, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and others.

My approach is relationship-centered and attentive to questions of meaning and purpose, while drawing on evidence-based practices that fit each client’s needs and goals. I work with clients to better understand their experiences, clarify what matters most to them, and move toward lives that more fully reflect their values.

I also welcome exploration of spiritual and existential themes when they arise, whether rooted in a religious tradition, shaped by doubt or struggle, or understood in more personal or secular terms. Therapy can offer a space to explore questions of meaning, identity, and belonging without assumptions or judgment.

I am especially interested in working with people navigating anxiety and depression, grief and disconnection, life transitions and questions of identity or purpose, as well as struggles involving faith or spirituality.

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Spiritual Integration at Fordham University. Alongside my clinical training, I continue to work in healthcare technology and understand firsthand the challenge of balancing a demanding job with relationships and personal well-being.

I see clients virtually and in person at PSI’s 50 Fulton Street location in Manhattan and can be reached at sbeebe@psinyc.org.
