Support PSI on #GivingTuesday
Today is #GivingTuesday, and all of us here at Psychotherapy & Spirituality Institute want to begin that by giving thanks for our clients and clinical colleagues, our four host congregations in Manhattan, our PSI alumni and programming partners, and of course, the many friends who refer people to us for affordable spiritually-informed therapy. We are so appreciative of all you do to help us treat #MindAndSpiritAsOne.
This year, for the very first time, we are also asking you to consider donating to PSI as part of your year-end charitable giving.
As a non-profit organization, PSI devotes its resources to living out our mission “to help restore hope, health, and healing to individuals, families, groups, and communities” in New York City and beyond. PSI does this by offering psychotherapy on a sliding scale and pro-bono basis, by partnering with faith communities to provide psychoeducational programs and support groups, by sponsoring special outreach to Arab-American women, and by educating caregivers, counselors, clergy and clinicians about the emerging knowledge around key intersections of psychology and spirituality.
In recent years, PSI has established a vibrant multimedia presence, launching both a blog and YouTube channel that share deeper insights into spiritually-informed approaches to treatment. We offer a continuing education certificate program with discounted tuition to students and clergy, as well as speaker series that is free and open to the public. Using social media, we have given people access to expanded resources and useful information about mental health, spiritual wholeness, and human flourishing.
We hope that you will celebrate the 2017 holiday season by making a financial contribution to PSI on #GivingTuesday. Donations can be made securely online at our website and are entirely tax-deductible. Every amount that you can give helps us live out the PSI mission more fully. Thank you for you have done already to support PSI in its decades of service to people in New York City and beyond. All of us here at PSI wish you and yours much comfort and joy this holiday season, and all the best in the coming New Year!
