“A spiritually integrated psychotherapy makes the implicit explicit. Within this form of treatment, therapists and clients speak openly to spirituality as a significant dimension in its own right… “

Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy: Understanding and Addressing the Sacred

Continuing Education at PSI

Since 1975, the Psychotherapy and Spirituality Institute has evolved to meet the challenges of modern life by remaining an anchor of care and commitment to our community.

Part of that commitment is to provide continuing education credits (CECs) to licensed professionals* through our hallmark training programs. These programs reflect the latest psychotherapeutic practices while exploring how a deepened spiritual awareness strengthens the healing process.

Chief among PSI’s continuing education programs are our Annual Certificate in Spiritually-Informed Psychotherapies, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) for Clinicians.

These certificate courses are designed for the advancement of clinical professionals; however, clergy, chaplains, and curious laypeople are welcome. Learning more about the intersection of psychotherapy and spirituality fosters a more compassionate understanding of the struggles we face today, and our ongoing dedication to ease them.

* We currently provide CECs to LMSWs/LCSWs/LMFTs/LMHCs/LCATs licensed in the state of New York.
